Lichen
The patterns and variations of color and texture of lichen really interest me. When I zoom in close with my camera, they take on an almost abstract quality. Next time you are outside, see what kind of lichen you can discover! This original watercolor is matted and framed to 11 x 14 and was shown and sold at the Tour Gallery for the Rappahannock Art Tour the first weekend in November.
