Rock Tripe
Rock Tripe is the common name for a lichen that grows on rocks. It is abundant in Shenandoah National Park, is widely distributed in northern areas of North American and is even found in Antarctica. I think the colors are lovely, and am fascinated by the shapes and the way it curls and exposes the dark underside. Matted and framed to 13 x 13.
