Backyard Mandala #10
In all seasons there is beauty to be found in our backyards. This is the tenth in a series of mandala paintings, created from the things I find and collect as I ramble around the edges of my backyard and the forests that surround us. Each walk feels like a treasure hunt as I find more things that would work well in one of these paintings! This one’s center is half of a walnut, with bits of lichen, a touch of bright red from winterberry and other plants. What's in your backyard? Image 6x6 double matted and framed to 10x10.
