Bearfence, Shenandoah National Park
The Bearfence loop trail is a short 1.4 mile hike with a big payoff. The views from the top of the rock scramble are nothing short of spectacular! Access this trail from Skyline Drive milepost 56.4, in the central district of the park. This painting shows the views looking west with ridge after ridge into West Virginia.
